For those interested in accounting and finance, Henley has partnered with ICAEW (the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales), one of the industry’s most respected professional bodies, in a unique collaboration called HIP – the Henley-ICAEW Programme. With HIP, students graduate with 3 qualifications rather than one! Students not only get a BSc Accounting and Finance degree from Henley Business School, they get the ICAEW Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (CFAB), and the BFP (Business and Finance Professional) designation which can be used after their name. Students also benefit from a full 12-month work placement in Year 3, where they gain valuable work experience, and are put on a fast track to ICAEW ACA chartered status.
Another popular choice at Henley is the BSc Finance and Business Management.
Modules cover finance specialisms such as International Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Portfolio Management, Derivatives and Securities. Students are able to develop skills in Financial Trading, using trading simulation software, in our state-of-the-art Dealing Room, one of a kind in Malaysia. Other core subjects of business management such as Marketing, International Business and Organisational Behaviour are also studied.
The Henley Business School’s BSc Real Estate is ranked #1 in the UK for property management. Real estate is the world’s largest asset class and there is a significant demand for qualified real estate professionals in areas such as real estate investment, asset management, property management, valuation and consulting. If you’re a SPM holder, we recommend you enrol in the University’s International Foundation Programme (IFP) and complete the Foundation in Business which allows you to progress directly to the Henley Business School. There are intakes for IFP in April and September. Alternatively, you apply for direct entry to our undergraduate programmes with a foundation in business, A-levels or other suitable qualification. We have our next direct entry intake in September and January.
