According to Dania Bassim, the President of NUMed’s Student Association, NUMed Games promotes healthy competition and good sportsmanship among students of diverse backgrounds as they compete with one another in a variety of sporting events.

“NUMed Games is a platform for students to perfectly blend their academic life with challenging outdoor activities at the university. It does not only boost students’ lifestyles outside the classroom but also strengthens their interpersonal skills as they are exposed to invaluable opportunities to meet with students from other universities as well,” she added.

Besides the active participation of students from various universities, the success of NUMed Games also lies in the availability of a wide range of sports facilities at the EduCity Sports Complex, where the competition takes place annually. Located in EduCity, Johor, the complex encompasses an arena and pitches for field sports and athletics, an indoor arena and facilities for badminton and netball, a gymnasium and a 50-metre swimming pool.

Overall, NUMed is not only committed to delivering academic excellence but also students enjoy a vibrant mix of social, sporting and cultural offerings within the campus, thus providing the ideal avenue for students to get the most out of their educational journey.
