Unique Features
weCreate®
In the program, students do not follow a fixed and rigid course structure. Instead, they are free to learn whatever they so choose and encouraged to explore their individual passions and interests under the guidance of faculty in the school’s state-of-the-art weCreate® Center. The focus is on the act of creation and the development of creativity.
If students are interested in robotics, they can tinker with drones, if they are interested in fashion design they can experiment with textiles.
The studio offers students the opportunity to learn anything from digital production, fashion design, graphic design, e-design, architecture, music editing and recording, robotics, woodwork, electronics, to engineering and so much more.
ScholarShift®
Here, upper school students are exposed to the university model of classes while still within the structure of the school. The program utilizes Blended Learning, a model that encourages students to engage during class and independently manage work during the rest of the week, with the ongoing support of their teachers.
Students will apply their learning in highly relevant, real world contexts including internships, self-designed projects, or deeper learning in an area with a mentor.
In addition, Scholarshift develops “twenty-first century skills” such as critical thinking, teamwork, adaptability, and creativity, as well as digital, media, and technical literacy.
